Tonight, we celebrate the life and legacy of Jeremiah McCarthy, survivor, artist, mentor, counselor, and cherished member of the CBTF community. Jeremiah was the co-founder and lead teaching artist of Creative Matter, CBTF’s art program that grew from his deep love of art and the healing it brought him during his brain tumor diagnosis and treatment.

Through his work, Jeremiah shared his passion for creativity, self-expression, and hope with countless children, survivors, and families. His legacy continues to inspire through the Creative Matter program and the healing art he passed on to others.
